Welcome to the Department of Chemical Engineering at Kansas State University.

As preparation to become professional partners and leaders, we encourage all students to participate in extracurricular activities.  We are pleased with the legacy of accomplishments of our student teams, individuals, and seniors.  The overall experience has produced exceptional students.  For each of the past ten years our student chapter was ranked as outstanding as measured by the national AIChE organization.

Our faculty is dedicated to a program of the highest quality and to leadership at the forefront of the profession it serves.  This dedication and the cooperative spirit of ChE faculty has fueled a superior level of productivity.  The school has developed a broad base of external research support.  Every faculty member has an active research program and is receiving external funding.  In recognition of their accomplishments, our faculty members have won numerous awards as excellent educators and researchers.
